Cecilio Builders started small: two brothers, forward-thinking and entrepreneurial, building a carpentry business one job at a time. Word got around MetroWest, and the work got bigger kitchens, bathrooms, basements, additions until the small carpentry outfit had grown into a hard-earned, well-respected general contracting company.
Today the company is still run hands-on, with Silverio Silva and Wiler Filho overseeing every job from the first site visit to the final walkthrough. The name on the truck is still a family name, and the standard hasn’t changed: BUILD IT RIGHT, OR DON´T BUILD IT.

You can verify any Massachusetts contractor’s registration through the Office of Consumer Affairs & Business Regulation before signing a contract.

We still build kitchens, baths, basements, and decks but additions and ADUs have become our specialty. Massachusetts homeowners are sitting on lots that just became a lot more valuable: since February 2025, the state requires every city and town to allow at least one accessory dwelling unit by right on single-family lots. That’s a real shift in what’s buildable on the property you already own, and it takes a crew that understands both construction and the zoning behind it to build one correctly.
We built our process around that: a real site plan before design, a zoning and setback check before permitting, and a single crew carrying the job from foundation to final finish no scattered subcontractors, no lost details between hand-offs.
